Importation requirements for zoo animals include:

1. An original health certificate issued by an accredited veterinarian within 30 days prior to entry. Photocopies of health certificates must have an original veterinarian signature.

2. Zoo animals may only be consigned to a zoo, circus, or show providing the importation does not produce undue hazard to livestock or public health.

3. Animals in petting zoos must be tested negative for tuberculosis within 12 months of entry.
