Importation requirements for dogs include:

1. An original health certificate issued by an accredited veterinarian within 30 days prior to entry. Photocopies of health certificates must have an original veterinarian signature.

2. The health certificate must document that the animal is currently vaccinated against rabies according to the requirements of the National Association of State Public Health Veterinarians’ Compendium of Animal Rabies Control.
