Generalized Life Cycle in Colder Climates [It is a matter of conjecture how or if MFF overwinters in cooler climates. Adults may originate from adjacent warmer areas (the Rio Grande Valley of TX for example) or the fly may be transported by man in any of its’ life stages.]:
