Gila County

Gila County: This county is home of the legendary Graham – Tewksbury feud, which began in the 1870’s and lasted 15 years. It claimed dozens of lives and ignited tempers between cattle and sheep ranchers for years to come. Today, 4,000 cattle and calves live in t his county. As a whole, agriculture is rated as one of the best paying industries in Gila County. In fact, it brings in $8,964,000 for this county alone!
