Sofina buys Lilydale to form $800 million Canadian meat company
Markham, Ontario-based Sofina Foods Inc. and Edmonton, Alberta-based Lilydale Inc. announced the companies have signed a definitive agreement under which Lilydale will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Sofina Foods in a C$130 million deal that will form a 3,300-employee company with over C$800 million in annual revenues.
