Importation requirements for monkeys in the family Ceropithecidae (Macaques including Rhesus, Java, Snow, and Pigtail monkeys) include:

  1. No macaque may be imported that is less than 50% of its adult weight (Arizona Game and Fish Restriction).

  2. An original health certificate issued by an accredited veterinarian within 30 days prior to entry. Photocopies of health certificates must have an original veterinarian signature.

  3. Each macaque must be permanently identified with either a tattoo or microchip and the identification listed on the health certificate.

  4. Negative test for Simian Herpes B virus conducted within 30 days before entry.

  5. Negative test for tuberculosis conducted within 30 days before entry.
