Brand Application

To be used to apply for a new brand; to re-apply for a brand expired beyond the "grace" period or to apply for a brand listed in the available brand book.

Brand Amendment (PDF)

To be used when a brand owner wishes to change brand information that
is currently recorded.

Examples: To change the location of the brand on the animal; to add earmarks; to add a brand to another animal that is not currently authorized. PLEASE NOTE; THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO CHANGING A BRAND DESIGN. BRAND DESIGN CHANGES MUST BE APPLIED FOR AS A NEW BRAND.

Brand Lease

To be used when one party wishes to "lease" their brand to another party.

Bill of Sale

To be used for transfer of ownership of brand.

Examples: Brand is given or sold to another party; a current brand owner gives up his interest in the brand and is deleted.

Brand Release (PDF)

To release all interest in a brand making it available for rerecording by other persons.

Name Change Request (PDF)

To be used when a name is being changed. PLEASE NOTE: OWNERSHIP CHANGES MUST BE BY BILL OF SALE.

Examples: A person gets married or divorced and their names changes; a business merged into another business and the name changes.

Instrument of Distribution

To be used for the distribution of the brand ownership when the brand owner is deceased.
