Instructions To Complete Bill Of Sale

  1. All signatures must be notarized (both sellers and buyers). Those not properly notarized will be returned.

  2. If all parties involved in the transfer are unable to appear before a notary at the same time, a separate notary acknowledgement may be attached for additional signatures.

  3. If more than one (1) name is used as owner, "OR" or "AND" must be specified between names.

  4. If ownership is being transferred to a business entity, signatures of two (2) authorized persons are required. A copy of the business organizational papers must be provided (i.e.: Articles of Incorporation, Partnership Agreement, Articles of Organization, etc.).

  5. Original owner must sign under both Seller and Buyer if retaining a partial interest in the Brand.

  6. A $25.00 fee must be submitted for the processing of each Bill of Sale and the issuance of a new Brand Certificate.

  7. Bill of Sale does not change the expiration date of the brand.
